Attending HRI2025 @ Melbourne

In March 2025, Milab students, along with some classmates from the Human-Robot Interaction Design course, traveled to Melbourne, Australia, to attend the international Human-Robot Interaction Conference HRI 2025. The students participated in various workshops, gaining insights into the latest academic developments. Their projects were also showcased in the Student Competition and Late-Breaking Work sessions, providing opportunities to engage with professors, researchers, and peers from around the world. Notably, DozeBuddy and Tooth Bot received Honorable Mentions in the Student Competition and Late-Breaking Work sessions, respectively. This experience not only broadened the students’ academic horizons but also further inspired their enthusiasm for innovation in the field of human-robot interaction.
