Attending CHI2025 @ Yokohama

In late April 2025, Professor Haipeng Mi and students from Milab traveled to Yokohama, Japan, to participate in the prestigious ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2025). The conference, a premier international event in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, was held from April 26 to May 1. At the conference, Milab presented a significant body of work, including one full paper and five late-breaking works, showcasing their latest research achievements.

The full paper, titled "Exploring the Design of LLM-based Agent in Enhancing Self-disclosure Among the Older Adults", was presented by Yijie Guo. The five late-breaking works covered a diverse range of topics, including a biofeedback game for emotion regulation, player-character relationships in AI-generated games, cultural understanding on social media, text-driven character voice generation, and a haptic creature design for enhancing emotional regulation in driving scenarios.
